Return Policy

SAFARI offers a satisfaction-guaranteed shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it and we will issue a credit note for your purchase, if it is eligible. (Please check the Terms & Conditions below to determine whether your return is eligible for a refund).


30 DAYS: All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 calendar days after the order is placed.
15 DAYS: If you wish to return the item in-store rather than by mail.

DOCUMENTATION: Your original invoice must accompany your returned item(s) in order for SAFARI to process your refund.

GOOD CONDITION: All returned items must be in their original state and deemed to be unused before they can be accepted for a credit note.


  1. Due to the hygienic standards of certain items, we regret that it is not possible for us to accept returns on grooming products, dog or cat carriers/purses, dog or cat beds, litter boxes or litter scoops. If these items are returned to SAFARI they will be sent back to you at your expense.
  2. All live reptiles or live coral are FINAL SALE.
  3. Boots can be exchanged, if they have not been worn outdoors, and were simply tried on by the dog to check the fit.


You may return your purchase by one of the two following options:

Returns by mail

Please mail to us the completed Return Form (included with your shipment), your original invoice and the item(s) you wish to return.

Canadian and International returns should be sent to:

For security reasons, please return the merchandise in the shipping box. You are responsible for all shipping and handling costs, as well as duties and/or taxes for International orders.

Returns in stores

Please make sure to have the original invoice and item(s) you wish to return on hand to facilitate your transaction. Consult our Store Locator to find a SAFARI store near you.


Please send us e-mail if you received an extra item in a shipment, or items were delivered to you (or to your home) that you didn't order. At your earliest convenience, e-mail us and let us know:

  • The item(s) you incorrectly received,
  • Your name,
  • Your mailing address,
  • And the order number in the shipping label.
